FLORIDA WEIGH STATION GUIDANCE
10/6/2017 Subject: AUTHORIZATION FOR EMERGENCY RESPONSE VEHICLES TO BYPASS WEIGH STATION FACILITIES IN RESPONSE TO TROPICAL STORM NATE Effective immediately, emergency response utility vehicles (i.e. bucket trucks, etc.) responding to Tropical Storm Nate are given authorization to bypass all FDOT weigh station facilities until Tuesday, October 17, 2017. This weigh station bypass does not include loads that require permits to operate on Florida’s roadways. This effort has been coordinated with personnel with the Florida Highway Patrol and the Department of Agriculture to expedite emergency response. |
