Updates as of 5/03/18, 0930 EDT
  • Delaware has issued mandatory evacuation orders for Kent and Sussex Counties effective May 2 in advance of Hurricane Cora.
  • The Commonwealth of Virginia issued an evacuation order on May 1 in conjunction with the Governor’s state of emergency. Voluntary evacuation order has been issued effective May 2; evacuations will be mandatory effective May 3.  The following locations are covered by the evacuation orders: Zones A, B, C and D: (includes Cities of Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Poquoson, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach; Counties of Accomack, Essex, Gloucester, Isle of Wight, James City, Lancaster, Mathews, Middlesex, Northampton, Northumberland, Richmond County, Surry, Westmoreland, York, and the town of Chincoteague)
  • Maryland has issued a voluntary evacuation order for the following counties:  Ocean City, City of Annapolis, City of Cambridge, City of Baltimore, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, Charles, St. Mary’s, Anne Arundel, and Baltimore Counties.

State Declaration Status:
  • DC - State of Emergency Declared has been issued for the District of Columbia by DC Mayor, Muriel Bowser.
  • VA - State Emergency Declaration has been issued for Virginia by Governor Northam.
  • MD - Pre-Landfall Emergency Declaration has been issues for Maryland by Governor Hogan.
  • NC - North Carolina Governor Cooper declared a State of Emergency. Executive Orders and Transportation Waivers are in effect. North Carolina has issued voluntary evacuation orders for the Outer Banks and low-lying areas to include; Brunswick, New Handover, Pender, Onslow, Carteret, Hyde, Dare and Currituck counties. Local mandatory evacuation orders have been issued for the Outer Banks, and northern counties that align the Virginia State Line: Bertie, Chowan Pamlico, Craven, Washington, Martin, Tyrell, Camden, Gates, Pasquotank Beaufort and Perquimans counties.

Electric Sector Fleet Movement Information:
The spreadsheet below indicates what states are impacted by this incident (light blue columns on the right) and the states that will have mutual assistance response fleets moving through them (in the grey columns in the middle).

Reading left to right, the sheet informs the "pass through states" that they are potentially in the path of the fleet movements. This help to alert them and help them provide support in expediting these movements through their state(s). Departure and arrival dates (ETA column) are estimated and may change at any time.
