Update Monday 4/7/2020 3:30pm ET
Good afternoon,
In an effort to help streamline the processing of Canadian Utility workers entering the U.S., Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has the established below mailboxes for request submissions:
Requests for the State of Maine: [email protected]
Requests for the States of Vermont and New Hampshire: [email protected]
For U.S. utility companies that are requesting support from Canada, it is recommended that you continue to use the border crossing form entitled "Border Pre-Arrival List of Names for Emergency Events" to speed the vetting process.
See below.
Guidelines are also provided below.
Please note that the only change is that the Boston Field Offices’ approval will no longer be required in order to process these requests.
All requests should be sent to the mailboxes above and the local Port of Entry will have the final determination for admission into the U.S.
I apologize if I have missed anyone; please pass this along to your peers.
Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
Very Respectfully,
CBPO Paul Rooney
