Expediting the commercialization of federal research
The AHC is working on a new initiative with federal research groups to help expedite the "transition" process by getting research products into the commercial world faster.
By engaging states and industry end users into the later stage R&D efforts, the AHC helps to facilitate and speed up the adoption process of research into real world operational use.
The AHC engages several stakeholder groups including investors, researchers, end users and solution providers in the process to address the legal, technical, policy and requirements development process issues that traditionally slow down the current processes.
The initial focus will be on Cyber and Secure Information Sharing, but may later expand to other areas.
