The Sensitive Information Sharing Environment (SISE)
Operations Center
Operations Center
The All Hazards Consortium's SISE (Sensitive Information Sharing Environment) working group is part of the private sector operated multi-State Fleet Response Working Group created in 2013 following Hurricane SANDY.
The SISE working group has been working with its government and private sector partners to develop a process to solve operational information sharing to increase situational awareness and enhance decision making.
The SISE Ops Center will not replace existing systems but will connect and aggregate information from the current government and private sector systems and organize, analyze, and communicate the information by sector/problem based "use cases" resulting in simplified decision making.
Once fully functional, both government and private sector stakeholders envision a network referred to as "SISEnet", a national resource to incorporate any solution, system, data sets, apps, docs, websites, and organizations that can support private sector or public sector defined use cases and provide a single place for the private sector and states to work operational problems via accelerated information sharing.
The SISE is for operational use only and utilizes an online identity vetting process to qualify and manage participants.
