The Multi-State Fleet Response Working Group is a private sector guided, public/private working group focused on expediting safe and effective restoration of critical “lifeline infrastructure” and supply chains to support business and community resilience within the United States. Members of this working group include critical infrastructure owners and operators from multiple sectors including electric, fuel, telecommunications, transportation, food, water, medical, retail, manufacturing, banking/finance, information technology, chemical, and the defense industrial base.
Public sector officials serve as advisors and volunteer their time to engage in joint “integrated” planning, training, exercises and advise on joint solution development.



About the Multi-State Fleet Response Working Group

The Multi-State Fleet Response Working Group (FRWG) was established under the auspices of the All Hazards Consortium.

The purpose of this FRWG is to support any efforts and organizations that can help expedite the movement of private sector repair fleets and resources across multiple state borders in response to disasters.

The FRWG stakeholders are owners and operators of the nation’s critical infrastructure sectors and state/local government representatives from multiple disciplines including emergency management, homeland security, transportation, communications, GIS, health, energy, utility commissions, law enforcement, and economic development.

The FRWG is a private sector led working group which focuses on specific topics that promote its purpose.

State/local government representative are invited to participate in a shared governance model via an Executive Steering Committee and on any sub-committees.

The Multi-State Fleet Response Working Group is funded by its Members, Partners, government grants, and by in-kind support from state, local, and the federal government.


What Does The Working Group Do?
The FRWG brings together private/public sector representatives to engage in a sustained integrated planning sessions that build trust, identifies operational issues and create solutions: e,g, training, policy, solutions, plans, apps, datasets, 3rd party tools and exercises.


How Is It Done?
The FRWG fosters relationships between industry and government by delivering products and services and facilitating planning, exercises and programs that promote the expediting of power, supply chain and critical infrastructure restoration. The FRWG accomplishes this through volunteers who participate in various efforts and sub-committees that produce solutions, training, exercises, and speaking at regional national conferences and meetings for the importance of this working group, its members, and its results.
