Vision
To build a trusted, cross-sector AI community within the SISE that develops real-world capabilities, strengthens collaboration, and transforms emergency management and complex multi-sector challenges through practical, scalable, and innovative solutions nationwide.
Mission
To equip SISE members to collaboratively apply AI tools, develop and test use cases, share knowledge, and deliver measurable results through structured working groups, consistent engagement, and continuous improvement across sectors.
Objectives
- Develop and Deliver Real-World AI Use Cases - Launch small, cross-sector working groups to identify, test, and deliver 3–5 practical AI use cases within 90 days that improve information sharing, coordination, or operational efficiency.
- Build Member Capability and Confidence with AI - Equip all participants—regardless of experience level—to confidently use AI tools through hands-on sessions, shared prompts, and peer learning, resulting in measurable adoption across their organizations.
- Establish a Scalable, Action - Create a repeatable structure using Zoom (meetings), SIGNAL (real-time coordination), and Teams (knowledge repository) that enables continuous engagement, tracks action items, and supports expansion into topic-based subgroups led by members.
