3rd Annual Regional State Border Coordination Workshop

On January 24-25, 2011, the states and urban areas of the All Hazards Consortium (AHC) held the 3rd Annual Regional State Border Coordination Workshop. The AHC further develop the findings and discussions that came out of the 2nd Annual State Border Coordination Workshop regarding existing catastrophic evacuation planning efforts within the states of NC, VA, DC, MD, WV, PA, DE, NJ & NY including efforts, challenges and opportunities to achieve the long-term vision of a coordinated plan and support of integrated planning.

The goals for this workshop were to:
- Provide an update on the Regional Catastrophic Planning Grant Program (RCPGP) and other initiatives as they relate to issues and gaps / areas identified in the 2009 and 2010 reports.
- Determine next steps in those initiatives, how those initiatives can be further developed and sustained and/or other gaps that need to be addressed.
- Discuss the challenges and opportunities to achieve the long-term vision of a coordinated plan and support of integrated planning.

- State/Local Government Employees: $150 per person **
- Non-profit Organizations, Academia and Federal Government: $350 per person
- Private Sector & Government Contractors: $500 per person (AHC member discounts apply)

| Cancellations postmarked by mid-night January 1, 2011 will receive a refund less a $50.00 processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations postmarked after this date. The reception and workshop will be held at the Eisenhower Hotel and Conference Center at 2624 Emmitsburg Road in Gettysburg, PA 17325. Complimentary parking is available.
