This group will focus on the law enforcement and public safety information sharing issues within the region.  As a first step, this group chose to focus on the region’s fusion centers.

Update October 2007:

In February 2007, eight states came together in New Jersey to provide a briefing to their sister states on their fusion center efforts.  This was the AHC’s first regional workshop, and  focused on fusion center formation efforts, funding, staffing, products, performance measures, governance structures, short and long-term issues, and sustainability.  The workshop provided a forum for both public and private sector leadership to come together on this important issue.  A white paper was sponsored and produced by Northrop Grumman, vetted by the Information Sharing and Intelligence Working Group, and released in October 2007.
